The Villa Sonnenschein was originally purchased by Heinrich & Rosa Sonnenschein in 1934 as a retreat for the Leipzig entrepreneurial couple and has been in family ownership ever since. The “Gründerzeit” villa, adorned with a red brick facade, was constructed in 1898 and has witnessed much over the last approximately 125 years.

The living room with its spacious dining area, the great view of the Saale Valley and cathedral is the heart of the apartment. The three Velux convertible windows give you the feeling of your own terrace. The lovingly selected modern, high-quality furnishings, Smart TV, and W-LAN complete our offer. No desire to leave in the evening – no problem, the freestanding kitchen has all appliances needed to cook and is equipped with a refrigerator, a freezer, an induction stove with a built-in hob extractor, an oven, and a dishwasher.
The Large Bedroom
Equipped with a Box Spring bed which invites you to lie down and have a good rest. At the small desk, you can work, or write postcards to friends and family.
The Dormer Room
Two additional guests can be comfortably accommodated here, by the way, the beds are a design classic by Rolf Heide a German interior and industrial designer can be stacked depending on the occupancy of the apartment.
Want to relax and read something? That is also possible with the comfortable wing chair incl. stool which offers space for your reading pleasure.
The Bathroom
The bathroom with a view of the Saale valley is equipped with a nice big rain shower, a toilet, a towel warmer, a hairdryer and a big mirror. You were biking at the Saale or hiking at the vineyards and want to get your laundry clean again? No problem, because you can wash clothes in the apartment’s own washing machine.
